  • 1982: Hastings Unemployed & Claimants Advice Centre formed

    To relieve local poverty and improve the quality of life for those on a low income by providing comprehensive advice on all welfare benefits and tax credits. Later renamed the Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC). Celebrated 25 year anniversary in 2007. Moved to Advice and Community Hub in 2012. harcuk.org
